Tell us on this page any "action" you see your child taking according to our units of inquiry. Just post anything interesting you see on this page. I would love to hear what you see and we can all be on the look out as well.
In the IB PYP that's
referred to as the "action" part of our Units of Inquiry, and those
actions are not always easy to see at school. This is action that
he/she is taking because of activities in class that provoke thought
about what we are learning.
Action doesn't need to be huge, but it doesn't need to be small. It
is NOT something that someone else tells the child to do; it IS
something that they decides to do on their own. It can happen tomorrow or
it can happen weeks from now (even after the unit is over). It might be
an overall change in how your child views his or her surroundings.
If you see/hear of any actions that your child is taking, and you
think it might be the direct result of our Authors and Illustrators

Central idea: Authors and illustrators purposefully express their creativity in a variety of waysLines of inquiry:
• Exploring the role of fiction and non-fiction books (form)
• Purposes of books (function)
• Visual mediums used to express ideas or information (causation)
